For fast compensation, improved sensitivity, 12+2 outputs

NOVAR 1312NOVAR 1312 reactive power controller (governor, PFC) is designed for compensation systems where conventional governors with relay outputs to control circuit breakers do not meet special requirements. These are usually systems where rapid frequent changes in reactive power take place or systems with strict requirements on electromagnetic noise suppression and power quality.

 The governor allows up to 25 control interventions per second. Together with KATKA thyristor switching modules, it provides optimal control of reactive power compensation. 

Combined compensation systems utilizing both thyristor switching modules and circuit breakers are also possible to be build with this governor.

Communication Options

All types of power factor controller include an option al, galvanically isolated communication line - either RS232 or RS485. It enables remote monitoring of all the measured values, state and also perform configuration of the device.  For communication with the device there are two similar protocols available - MODBUS and KMB. Both protocols are documented and publicly available.

Software for data acquisition and processing is also available. The basic version of the RETIS software is free of charge and can be downloaded from our web site.
