The TS (TrafoSTART) is an electronic relay for the switching single-phase transformers. The magnetization of the transformer core is maintained in limits during energization. This transformer starting method totally eliminates inrush current with minimal start up time (from 0,06 s). This unique control procedure was patented. It has patent number CZ 296466.

Smart Load to Reduce Ferroresonance

The AFR 31 Smart Load is an instrument designed to protect metering voltage transformers against adverse effects of ferroresonance in high voltage power distribution systems with ungrounded or indirectly grounded neutral wire. Unlike other methods, it is targetedly enabled only when ferroresonance occurs, being passive in common operation or with nonsymmetrical loads, under normal circumstances the this does not load the metering system.

ES 101 is a general purpose Ethernet-to-Serial converter. It allows different instrument(s) with a serial line to be connected directly and transparently to the Ethernet. The communication with such instruments is performed using the default TCP/IP sockets. It can by configured and parametrized over the network with the ENVIS.Daq software (for Windows operating systems). In the case of data acquisition from KMB instruments, the ENVIS software supports ES 101 converters directly within.

GSM-GPRS Modem

The KM GPRS 101 modem is communication device for point-to-point interconnection, especially for remote management and monitoring of instruments and controllers of the KMB systems company. It provides either a GSM-connection ( standard modem) or a GPRS-connection with both TCP and UDP protocols, using either fixed or dynamic IP-addressing. The modem is equipped with either RS-485 or RS-232 type interface. For the RS-485 models, up to 2 instruments with appropriate interface can be connected to.

Datalogger for meters

The MBOX device reads and stores actual data from SM devices connected on the RS485 communication line and stores them on SD or MMC card with capacity of up to 2GB, thus providing enough space for even long term monitoring. The stored data can be imported into RETIS for visualization and further processing.

The innovated tool set ELF 2 is used to determine phase order in low voltage networks (230/400V) with continuous uninterrupted operation. The set contains two devices for sending and receiving of synchronization signals. Booth devices are powered directly from the measured network and do not need any additional setup to cooperate. With one sending unit, multiple receivers can cooperate at once. The correct operation is indicated with LED diodes. 

HV Transformer Tap Changer Position Indicator

IPOT 19 is a panel mountable device which displays number of active transformer tap on its LED display. The code of tap also controls 5  relevant output relays. The controlling unit is capable to process up to 19 signals from transformer tap changer contacts and a signal of change-over state including its timing control. Error states of the switching are indicated.
